Æge Energy was commissioned by Green Mountain as Owners Engineer for the development and constructon of the 150 MW data center at Heggvin, Hamar, Norway. Our services include concept and detail design of HV and MV systems, EIA and permit application for the HV facility license, construction management and follow up of contractors, dialogue with the regional grid owner and the TSO.

Æge Energy was commissioned by a potential investor to conduct a due diligence of the Greenlink interconnector project. The review included technical, commercial, permitting, organisational and regulatory aspects of the project.

Project facts:
The Greenlink interconnector is a subsea high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cable system that connects the power markets of Ireland and Great Britain, stretching approximately 190 km underground and under the sea between County Wexford in Ireland and Pembrokeshire in Wales.
- Review of Technical, Regulatory, Procurement Strategy, Project Management/Organisational and Permitting aspects
- Site inspection of land fall, converter sites and onshore cable routes
- Development of risk register and contingencies for development and construction phases

Analysen inkluderte tekniske hensyn, tilknytningsteknologier- og konsept, en vurdering av planlagte nettoppgraderinger, produksjonskapasitet og ulike scenarioer for fremtidig energibalanse, samt potensiale for hybrid tilknytning (utenlandskabler og andre fremtidige verdikjeder).
